DECEMBER COFFEE SALE SUPPORTS OUR WORK IN SAN RAMON
Each December, Sister Communities of San Ramón, Nicaragua (SCSRN), the owner of FEV, holds a holiday coffee sale to raise money to support 20 community projects. To place a holiday order, please email info@san-ramon.org and put “December coffee sale” on the subject line. Large orders of Café San Ramón™ from businesses are greatly appreciated. This fundraiser is made possible by the generosity of Counter Culture Coffee, recipient of SCSRN’s Donor of the Decade Award in 2010. Deadline for placing orders is Decembers 1 of each year.

Café San Ramón™ may be purchased in the US in boxes of six 12oz bags from Counter Culture Coffee, www.counterculturecoffee.com. Please note, Café San Ramón like other coffees is harvested one time per year and is available while the supply lasts. If Café San Ramón is not available when you want to place an order, ask Counter Culture Coffee when they expect the new crop to arrive. The rutted road continues up a lush mountainside, past banana plants heavy with fruit and tree canopies inhabited by howler monkeys and sloths, to an outpost high in the rain forest. Carved out of the mountain 4,000 feet up, the setting offers spectacular views of the Dariense mountain range and the green valley far below.
