B&B and Package Rates

All packages above include:

• Lodging: Colibrí cabin has 3 double rooms each with private bath for 1 or 2 people and Loro and Tucán cabins accommodate 1 to 7 people with bath
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinners featuring local fresh fruits, vegetables and salads
• Beverages: Fresh fruit juices, our certified spring water and our own organic coffee, teas (solar chilled soft drinks and beer are available for an extra charge)

Mountaintop Retreat — 2 nights

Two guided walks; All about organic coffee tour and presentation; butterfly farm visit and presentation; Camp fire with folk music group.

Rainforest Sampler — 3 nights

Four guided walks; All about organic coffee tour and presentation; butterfly farm visit and presentation; Camp fire with folk music group; Cooking class and demonstration in the traditional Nicaraguan kitchen including roasting coffee and making tortillas.

Coffee and Campesino culture exploration — 4 nights

Four guided walks; All about organic coffee tour and presentation; butterfly farm visit and presentation; Camp fire with folk music group; Cooking class and demonstration in the traditional Nicaraguan kitchen includes roasting coffee and making tortillas;  Half day trip to the small town of San Ramon where a guide (usually a young college student) will guide you around town to places of interest. Demonstration by Women’s Handmade Paper Cooperative OR jewelry making workshop using seeds from local hardwoods.

Tropical & Migratory Bird Exploration — 4 nights

Four guided birding walks with our nature guides to look for 150 species in different areas of FEV’s wet tropical forest. FEV has hosted several bird banding operations and is the location of two official first sightings of birds for Nicaragua. Learn about how our shade grown, organic coffee cultivation enhances bird habitat, includes a Presentation on coffee cultivation; Butterfly farm visit and presentation, Camp fire with folk music group;  Half day trip to the small town of San Ramon where a guide (usually a young college student) will take you on a a 1 1/2 hour walk through pastoral settings to a giant ceiba tree loaded with 4 foot long Montezuma Oro Pendula nests hanging from the branches. Demonstration by Women’s Handmade Paper Cooperative OR jewelry making workshop using seeds from local hardwoods.

Guesthouse Hospitality in San Ramón – 2 nights

• Lodging: Private room
• Meals: 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners shared with the family
• Beverages: Coffee, tea, fresh fruit juices and purified water included
• Includes a tourist guide for up to 8 hours each day and a jewelry workshop using seeds from native trees growing in San Ramon. Also included for groups of 2 or more is a demonstration by the Women’s Handmade Paper Cooperative

Reservations

For B&B rates:

•    A deposit worth your first night’s accommodation rate is required to make a reservation.
•    50% of your total accommodation rate for entire stay is due 15 days before arrival.

For package rates:
•    50% deposit is required to make a reservation.
•    100% of your total accommodation rate for entire stay is due 15 days before arrival.
Children under the age of 3 stay for free; children between the ages of 3 and 11 pay half price.

Reservation Deposit

Your reservation deposit must be made using our PayPal account for an amount agreed upon thru email contact or by phone with the FEV office. Balance to be paid in cash at checkout.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES

Cancellations made with a notice of:
•    60 days prior to arrival = 100% refund
•    59 to 45 days prior to arrival = 50% refund
•    44 to 16 days prior to arrival = 25% refund
•    15 days = 0% refund as preparations for your stay will have already been made.

TRANSPORTATION
Up to 12 people in minivan: Managua and Granada to FEV $185 one way
Up to 3 people in pickup truck:
•    Managua and Granada to FEV $100 one way
•    Matagalpa to FEV $35 one way
•    San Ramon to FEV $25 one way
